Accounting Intern

Located in Redmond WA, SystImmune Inc. is a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of cancer through developing novel therapeutic bi-specific, and tri-specific antibodies, as well as antibody-drug conjugates (ADC's). Our objective is to create biologics that work through systematic intervention on the solid tumor micro-environment, to either directly attack the tumor and/or to activate the immune system to attack the tumor.

Major responsibilities: 

• Assisting in processing the payments, Checks and wire transfers to heavy volume of vendors in a timely manner. 
• Assisting in reviewing cash entries daily to identify any unrecorded transactions. 
• Recording day-to-day financial transactions to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation with proper account classification. 
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
• Assisting in financial audit and corporate tax return filings. 
• Assisting in preparing monthly project FTE allocation analysis, operational reports, and other ad-hoc queries. 
• Maintain close calendars to monitor progress against deadlines. 
• Meet processing and reporting deadlines. 
  
• Perform other duties as needed. 
  
• Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience or coursework in accounting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Bookkeeping experience with solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and A/P principles is a plus
• Proficient with QuickBooks is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or relevant field will be considered 

The hourly pay for this position is $30/hour, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation for the skills and expertise required.
