Senior Financial Analyst

Located in Redmond WA, SystImmune Inc. is abio-pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of cancer through developing novel therapeutic bi-specific, and tri-specific antibodies, as well as antibody-drug conjugates (ADC's). Our objective is to create biologics that work through systematic intervention on the solid tumor micro-environment, to either directly attack the tumor and/or to activate the immune system to attack the tumor.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in clinical operation management. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in handling our annual budget, quarterly forecasting, monthly BvA analysis, and clinical vendor tracking. This role demands not only exceptional proficiency in advanced financial software and Excel but also a keen understanding of the intricacies of financial management within a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual budget/quarterly forecasting/monthly BvA analysis:
- Budget Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the annual budget. Ensure alignment with the organization’s financial goals and objectives.

- Forecasting: Perform quarterly forecasting to provide accurate predictions of future financial performance, analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Develop and manage cash forecasting activities, predicting future financial positions and budget requirements.
- Reporting: Create and improve the dashboard presenting to executive-level.
Clinical operation management:
- BvA Analysis for Site Management: Conduct budget versus actual (BvA) analysis for site management, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy in site operations.
- Clinical Vendor Tracking: Monitor and manage financial aspects related to clinical vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgets.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in financial operations within the clinical sphere.
IPO Readiness:
- Enhanced SEC Compliance and Financial Reporting: Rigorously maintain compliance with all SEC and financial regulatory requirements essential for IPO preparation. This includes meticulous preparation, review, and management of IPO-related financial documentation (e.g., financial statements, SEC filings, and prospectus materials).
- Cross-functional Collaboration and Oversight: Actively collaborate with legal, accounting, and executive teams to guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all financial disclosures. Oversee the integration of corporate governance and internal controls necessary for public company compliance.
- Risk Management and Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice on financial and regulatory risks associated with the IPO process. Offer insights and recommendations for financial planning and capital structure optimization in preparation for going public.
Other requirements:
- Software Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel capabilities and budget software to create financial models and reports.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all financial reporting and forecasting. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously, managing projects and deadlines effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure budget adherence and to provide financial insights.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of related experience within data analysis, financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or forecasting experience required beyond degree.
- Strong computer/financial system skills; proficiency with MS Suite (Access, Word, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills required.
- Candidate must be skilled in Netsuite or a similar ERP system.
- Knowledge of PowerBI or Business Intelligence Tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred Bio-tech or Pharmaceutical industry experiences.

The hiring pay range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role.
